Back-End Developer

A Back-End Developer is a programming specialist who develops the server side of a web or software application. Its main role is to manage the functionality that runs behind the user interface and ensure its efficient connection with the database and other systems. This type of developer works with servers, databases, and APIs to create robust, scalable, and efficient structures that support applications used by millions of people.

Back-End Developers use programming languages ​​such as Java, Python, Ruby, PHP, Node.js or C#, depending on the project’s requirements. They must have a deep understanding of client-server architecture, relational (eg MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) database management, and be familiar with large-scale data storage and processing solutions. Also, application security and performance are crucial aspects of their work, as these applications often handle sensitive data.

In addition, a Back-End Developer must work closely with Front-End Developers, those who deal with the user interface, to ensure that the two sides work together effectively. They are also involved in designing and implementing REST or GraphQL APIs that facilitate the exchange of data between different parts of an application.

In addition to technical skills, a Back-End Developer must be able to think critically, solve complex problems and be adaptable to new technologies, as the IT industry is constantly changing.
