Mojo is a programming language developed for the MLIR compiler framework that provides a unified programming framework for software development, especially in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).Designed to be a superset of the Python programming language, the Mojo programming language is also called Python++ with the speed of C++ and the safety of Rust.Mojo was made available in browsers via Jupyter notebooks in May 2023 and locally on Linux in September, 2023.

A Visual Studio Code extension from the Modular developer team adds support for the Mojo programming language.
